Mid-term rentals often out-earn long-term leases with less turnover chaos than nightly STRs, which makes them attractive in hospital-adjacent and corporate-relocation markets. The financing nuance is documentation: because lenders underwrite MTR under their STR framework, a property with real 30-plus-day booking history is far easier to qualify than one relying purely on projections.
